View photos & details →For more than 50 years, Carol Youngberg has helped families, retirees and newcomers buy and sell in Canada's warmest community. No one knows this town, its neighbourhoods or its people better.

Carol Youngberg has been part of Osoyoos for most of her life, and part of its real estate story for more than half a century. She has watched orchards become neighbourhoods, seen the lakeshore grow and welcomed generations of new families to town. When you work with Carol, you get more than a Realtor. You get someone who knows which streets catch the morning sun, where the best lake views are, and who to call for just about anything.
Her commitment to Osoyoos goes far beyond real estate. Carol has been named Osoyoos Citizen of the Year more than once, an honour that reflects a lifetime of volunteering, showing up and giving back. She has also served her neighbours as a Town Councillor, helping shape the community that her clients now call home.
As Managing Broker with Century 21 Premier Properties Ltd. on Main Street, Carol brings the experience of thousands of local conversations, the backing of a trusted brokerage, and the kind of personal service that has made her a household name in Osoyoos.

View photos & details →Tucked into the southern tip of the Okanagan Valley, just north of the Canada–U.S. border, Osoyoos is a small town with a big personality. Its name comes from the Syilx word sooyoos, meaning "the narrows," after the spot where the lake pinches nearly closed in the middle of town.
Osoyoos is known for the warmest weather in the country, long sunny summers and mild winters. Its lake is often called the warmest freshwater lake in Canada, and the surrounding hills hold Canada's only desert landscape, home to sage, antelope-brush and wildlife found nowhere else in the country.
About 5,500 people live in town year-round, and the population swells every summer with visitors and seasonal residents. The local economy is built on tourism, agriculture and wine, with orchards, fruit stands and award-winning wineries lining the roads in every direction.
It's a town where neighbours still wave, Main Street still matters and community events, from the Canada Day Cherry Fiesta to the New Year's Day Desert Dip, bring everyone together.
Hot, dry summers and mild winters. One of the sunniest and warmest places in Canada.
Swimming, boating, paddleboarding and sailing, with public beaches right in town.
Surrounded by vineyards, including Nk'Mip Cellars, North America's first Indigenous-owned winery.
At the crossroads of Highway 3 and Highway 97, with a 24-hour border crossing to Oroville, Washington.
Golf, hiking, cycling the International Hike & Bike Trail, and skiing at Mt. Baldy in winter.
The Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre, Osoyoos Museum, downtown murals and a lively arts community.
Every corner of Osoyoos has its own character. Here's Carol's local take on the main areas buyers ask about. For a personal tour, or to hear what's available right now, just call Carol.
The heart of Osoyoos. Live here and you can walk to shops, cafés, restaurants, the post office and the beach. Downtown offers a mix of older bungalows, townhomes and condos, many within a few blocks of the water.
Homes a block or two off Main Street give you the convenience of downtown with quieter evenings, especially in the busy summer months.
Waterfront and water-view properties are the jewel of Osoyoos. Choices range from lakefront condos with resort-style amenities to private homes with their own docks.
Ask about strata bylaws early. Rules on rentals, pets and moorage vary from building to building and can make or break the right fit.
The east side of the lake is home to the Nk'Mip Resort area, with the Desert Cultural Centre, Nk'Mip Cellars, resort living and sweeping views across the water and desert hills.
Some properties in this area are on Osoyoos Indian Band lands and are leasehold rather than freehold. That's not a drawback, but it is different. Carol can explain how leases work before you buy.
About 10 minutes east of town along Highway 3, Anarchist Mountain offers acreages and homes with some of the most spectacular views in the South Okanagan, looking down over the lake, the town and south into Washington State.
Ask about water, septic, winter road access and FireSmart preparation. These matter more on the mountain than in town, and Carol knows the right questions to ask.
Just outside town, the valley floor and benches are lined with orchards and vineyards. These properties offer room to grow, whether you dream of a working farm, a fruit stand or simply a big garden and peace and quiet.
Much of this land is in the Agricultural Land Reserve, which affects what you can build and how you can use it. Carol can help you understand the rules before you fall in love with a property.
Osoyoos's established residential streets offer comfortable family homes, ranchers and newer builds, often with mature trees, garden space and easy access to schools, parks and the golf course.
Single-level ranchers are always in demand in Osoyoos. If you're selling one, now is a great time to call Carol.
Whether you're moving here, visiting or already a local, these resources are a great place to start.
